Im back on tumblr! Mainly because its rather therapeutic to rant occasionally. I know I’m gonna get bored real soon and give up but HECK lets just give this anothr go

I’ve done the deed, signed myself up for pure torture and signed up for GREs (July 13th) please do me a favor every time you see me, ask if I’m studying for GREs. Its tough love guys and its much needed. just constantly remind me that I should be studying.

Anyway. studying bloody requires a textbook and I’ve been hunting for one of my own since

a. Second hand books are already full of highlights n scribbles (How to tell which is yours?)

b. Borrowing someone else’s means u can’t scribble or highlight 

Both greatly impede efficient studying. So went to several places including Borders and there were NONE. its not like I was picky kay..there were no textbooks at Borders only ONE at the coop like WTH. It seemed like some cosmic conspiracy to prevent me from getting started. thunder! lightning! tears! frustration!

Finally trooped over to PageOne @ Vivo just now and I found the Barron’s text I’d been searching for. When I laid my eyes on that beautiful glossy paper back cover, the world stood still, silent. Everything else faded into the background and a singular spotlight shone brightly upon those magnificent alphabets that formed the words G.R.E. It was like I was missing a piece of my soul and there it was sitting pretty on the wooden bookshelf; the only one left. I reached out and cradled it, the book I had been pining and longing for. It fit in my arms perfectly like my arms were made to hold it like that forever. I was this close to breaking into a song & dance number in the middle of the bookstore when I caught my friend’s eye - Disgust. 

“Do you see the look on your face, your voice went up several pitches.. for a textbook babe A TEXTBOOK that is probably as boring as it is THICK. YOU my friend are incorrigible. YOU are definitely a GEEK. gosh seriously stop drooling over it, its embarrassin….” The disapproval in her voice resounded as she stomped off into bimbo central fashion magazine section.
